The History of Kabbalah

The following subjects that we deal with in the'"History of Kabbalah' are as follows:

  1. Arizal and his students

  2. The difference between Cordoverian Kabbalah and Arizal's Kabbalah.

  3. The historical transference of Kabbalah from Moshe through Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai: from Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai to the Arizal and from the Arizal through Ramchal [Rabbi Moshe Chaim Luzatto] until today.

  4. Biographies of the main Rabbis in the transference of Kabbalah.

  5. The disappearance of the Zohar for 700 years and its new revelation in Spain.

  6. Nearly 300 years ago, 15 volumes of the Zohar were taken to the basement of the Vatican and disappeared, never to be seen again. What is left of the Zohar today are writings on the 5 Books of Moses [Torah], Psalms [Tehillim], Song of Songs, Proverbs and Ecclesiastes.

  7. A Kabbalistic introduction on Reincarnation.

  8. An introduction to the inner meaning of the Sefirot [spheres] and their connection to the three dimensions of Time, Place and Soul.

It is exciting to know that all of these subjects will be gradually introduced on this site!
