Rebbe Nachman disguised very high and hidden concepts from Kabbalistic
works and incorporated them in his stories. The Rebbe said
that in ancient times people would speak in this manner making
use of stories and parables. In some of his stories the Rebbe
would reveal some hints to the mysteries mentioned in them.
The connection of the stories to the psychological makeup of every Jew
and every human being are relevant today. These stories are found
to be strong motivators for returning to G-d.
