People say "I pray day and night, but nothing is happening
and nothing has changed. G-d is oblivious to my prayers".
The answer is that you havent built a building yet.
You havent put all the stones in. The words are not
all there.
Perhaps you havent put in enough kavannah into your prayers.
The weight of each stone is from the kavannah you have. A person
has to understand that if she prays and G-d doesnt answer,
either its because she hasnt prayed enough or its
for her good that G-d waits. It could be that she doesnt really
mean what shes saying, or doesnt really know what shes
saying. We only know what we want. G-d waits until we clarify things
with our mind and with our heart.
Prayer is the highest level. Theres no reason, if a person
prays enough, that she wouldn't be answered. Thats what Hashem
told Moshe Rabbeinu. If you pray one more prayer Im going
to have to let you come into Eretz Israel because prayer is the
key to all the doors. Theres no such thing that you cannot
receive through prayer.
Prayer is the ultimate way to connect to Hashem. Prayer is on many
levels above Torah and if a person prays correctly then G-d will
give her anything she wants. Prayer is like a building every
word that you pray is like a brick or a stone.
When you build a prayer, G-d will give you that building....
